Privacy
The short version
We collect what you give us and what we need to do the work and bill for it. We don't sell it, and we don't use advertising trackers.
What we collect
- When you fill in Let's talk: your name, your email or phone, how you heard about us, and what you write. When you ask the estimator to email you an estimate: your name, email and company, and any note you add. When you fill in the form on a referral card: your name, business, email or phone, what you're after, and anything else you write.
- When you visit the site: which pages are read, counted with Spectabas, a privacy-focused analytics service. If you came through someone's referral link, we note the link's code and the page, so they get the credit.
- When we work together: your contact details, our emails with you (including mail sent to your project's email address), the proposals, invoices and questions we share with you, and your answers.
- When you pay an invoice online: Stripe collects your card or bank details on its own page. We never see or store them. We keep the amount, the date, and whether the payment cleared.
How we use it
To answer you, do the work, bill for it, and keep our books. We email you about your project and your invoices.
Who else sees it
A few services help us run the site and the business. Each one gets only what it needs:
- Stripe: online payments.
- Intuit QuickBooks Online: our accounting. Invoices and payments are recorded in our QuickBooks company.
- Postmark: sends and receives our email.
- Cloudflare: protects the site and checks that the Let's talk form was sent by a person.
- Spectabas: counts page visits.
- AppSignal: tells us when something on the site breaks.
- Anthropic: our team uses Claude, Anthropic's AI, to help write things like invoice line descriptions from our own records of the work. Anthropic's commercial terms don't let it train its models on what we send.
- Amazon: the book links on our reading list are Amazon affiliate links, so Amazon knows you came from us if you buy through one.
We don't sell your information or share it for advertising. We'd hand it over only if the law required it.
Our QuickBooks connection
Teagles Admin, the software we run our business on, connects to our own QuickBooks Online company. It reads and writes the records we keep our books with, such as customers, invoices and payments. Only our team uses it, it connects to no one else's QuickBooks, and the keys for the connection are stored encrypted. We don't sell or share anything it reads from QuickBooks.
Cookies
The site sets a session cookie that keeps its forms secure and remembers a referral link. Cloudflare may set cookies of its own to protect the site. We don't use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Records of our work and of money paid stay as long as we work together, and as long after that as tax law asks. Ask us to delete the rest and we will.

The site isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
